I write a lot about running. Probably because I run a lot. I started running in Djibouti even though it is stupid hot. I’m a middle of the pack-er but am stubborn. I’ve run three marathons, two in the USA and one in Somalia. I’ve done several 15k races and 5ks and have designed my own as well, since women aren’t encouraged to participate in races here. I also helped start Girls Run 2, the only all-girls running club here. If I can do any of this, you can do it too.
